Opticians Association of America
OAA's mission  is to  promote and expand opticianry by being the single, unified voice of America's Opticians.  In support of this  mission,   we are committed to  promoting professional stature through leadership, education,  legislative representation, and communication.

Thanks to a special arrangement between Quantum Optical and the Mississippi Association of Dispensing Opticians, active members in good standing can now obtain discounted continuing education online!  All approved online courses can be applied toward your ABO/NCLE continuing education requirements and there is no limit to the number of online courses that you may submit. ABO/NCLE approval status is listed on a each course.

The Contact Lens Council (CLC) is a non-profit organization serving as an educational resource on vision correction for consumers. The primary goal of the CLC is to promote the safe use of contact lenses.

Contact Lens Society of America
CLSA is an educational organization.  Founded in 1955, the CLSA's only objective is to educate and share knowledge among fitters of contact lenses.  Our Society boasts membership from all three O's: Opticianry, Optometry, and Opthalmology.

The AR Lens Council of America
The AR Council is committed to growing quality-driven AR sales through consumer advertising, standards development, industry statistics and professional education


ABO/NCLE
ABO and NCLE are national not-for- profit organizations for the voluntary certification of ophthalmic dispensers.  ABO, the American Board of Opticianry, certifies opticians — those who dispense and work with spectacles.  NCLE, the National Contact Lens Examiners, certifies those ophthalmic dispensers who fit and work with contact lenses.

National Academy of Opticianry
The National Academy of Opticianry (the Academy) is the only international organization dedicated solely to education and training for ALL ophthalmic dispensers (opticians and contact lens fitters). With an individual membership numbering in the thousands, the Academy serves over 25,000 optical professionals.
